International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Recertification Guidelines
Recertification is a mandatory process required by the NCCA and open only to Academy Membership. The current requirement is 12 hours of acceptable classroom or online hours over the prior year. If there are questions about CEUs, please contact the Academy to determine if the class, project or activity merits acceptance.
The Academy will provide a post-approval process for programs, but it is not a guarantee that they will be accepted. A copy of the course outline or syllabus, instructor(s) and entity certifying the class needs to be sent to the Academy. It is the Fellows responsibility to attend classes related to chiropractic orthopedics. In addition, credits will be given for writing articles published in a peer-reviewed or academic journal (example: JIANM), writing Part I and Part II questions, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate orthopedic centered classes will be other ways to obtain recertification.
